Lewis Hamilton ties Michael Schumacher's record of 91 F1 racing wins

Lewis Hamilton moved level with Michael Schumacher's record of 91 Formula One wins with a victory at the Eifel Grand Prix in Nurburg, Germany, on Sunday.

Hamilton won comfortably after Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas suffered a race-ending engine issue. The win increases Hamilton's lead to 69 points in the championship.

Asked what the gesture and the record meant to him, Hamilton replied: "I don't even know what to say.

"When you grow up watching someone, generally idolised them, in terms of the quality of driver they are but also what they're able to continuously do year on year, race on race, week on week, with their team.
